These are the "young ones" of the Kohala Class of '68 who continued "Partying" after the reunion dinner/program was over. The other "poor babies" had to go back to their hotel rooms because they were "tired". Bunch of wimps :) :) We drove down to visit the strip; that's Bellagios and Caesar's Palace in the background. Lt-Rt. Ryan Tohara, Patricia Kaohu Niibu, Linda Marquez Schmidt, Ernest Valenzuela, Arturo, Vivian Salinas Pope, Renee Kinoshita Ito, Laura Aiona Yamamoto, ElRoy Ito, William Yamamoto, Karen Hasegawa Nemoto, Anthony Obina, George Kaitoku, Andy Oshita and Clyde Nakashima.

Arturo and Vivian Salinas Pope getting ready to cruise the Strip.

Janice Ishiara winner of our 40th Class Reunion Golf Tournament's Perpetual Trophy for the lowest Net Score receiving the trophy from the 35th reunion winner Calvin Nemoto, Karen Hasegawa's husband. It was difficult getting Calvin to give up the trophy until Karen put her arm around him and whispered something into his ear. He smiled and handed the trophy to Janice. Wonder what Karen promised him. ????? :) :)
Mrs. Nakasone with classmates living in Kohala. Lt. - Rt. Wendell Mattos, Rudy Garcia, Renee Kinoshita Ito, Laura Aiona Yamamoto, William Yamamoto, & Clyde Nakashima

Arturo and Vivian Salinas Pope. Vivian and Patsy Kaohu provided one of the highlights of the evening by pointing and accusing each other of the 2nd floor escape plan from the gym during one of our dances. We'll get to the bottom of this one of these days.
Two of the nicest guys in the class of '68, George Kaitoku and Ryan Tohara. P.S. don't forget the $20 each you promised me for saying that. :)
Dale Ishiara and his wife Janice. They swept the Golf Tournament by winning both the low gross scores and the closest to the pin contests in the mens and womens division. Janice was also the big winner of the perpetual trophy with the low net score. Way to go Janice.
Wondering why Glenn Ah Sam looks pis__d off? Check out the following posting for answer.
Glenn Ah Sam and Billy Yamamoto hoping there's enough food left. Note that Vivian Salinas got in line before them. :) :) Nah Vivian just joking.
Richard and Sydney Gourley. Thanks Richard for leaving behind your chewing tobacco; you too Sydney. No just joking. Sydney still has maintained her great sense of humor which is what is needed at reunions.
Clyde Nakashima. Forget about Wayne Newton as Mr. Las Vegas, Nakashima is our vote for this title. If you want to know where to eat, shows to see or best shopping in town, he's the man to see. What makes him even more dangerous now is that he bought a GPS monitor with a sexy ladies voice that tells you where to go. Just what Clyde needs.
Wayne Ignacio and Agnes Higa Cloney. It was great seeing them after all these years. Wayne still has his great sense of humor and Agnes is as cute as ever and is an avid Harley rider.
Frank Santiago and Roberta. Heh Frank, she has the most beautiful eyes and wonderful personalilty so take good care of her and be nice. Okay? Roberta, if Frank acts up, no worry you can still come to our reunions.
Wendell Mattos and Anthony Obina. More Union Mill Road "rowdies" who used to swim illegally (skinny dipping) in Union Mill Pond.
Jason and Odetta Shimotsu and Lydia and Steven Santiago. We appreciated their spouses attending our reunion. It sure made our jobs easier in that we didn't have to keep Odetta and Steven under control. :)
Good friends from the Union Mill Road days, Anthony Obina and Ernest Valenzuela.
Renee Kinoshita Ito and her husband ElRoy. He also was a big winner and most likely will be back in Vegas soon.
Ann Matsumoto Aoyagi and her husband Nobu. Even though Ann graduated from Mid Pacific we still consider her part of our class family and we appreciated them joining us for our 40th reunion. P.S. they traveled all the way from Las Vegas Nevada. :) :)
Rudy Garcia attempting to imitate the King Kamehameha statue in Kapaau
Linda Marquez Schmidt and her husband Chuck. The water in Corvallis Oregon must be special because she's as pretty as ever.

Norma Doliente Baker with her husband Richard on her left and daughter Christina and husband Richard on her right. Christina won a big one soon after reaching their hotel so their trip was paid for. Lucky guys.

Ernest and Marsha Valenzuela. Marsha tamed this "wild" Filipino from Union Mill Road. Mahalo Marsha.
Laura Aiona & husband Billy Yamamoto and Glenn Ah Sam. Doesn't Laura look so radiant even though we had to pay her to pose for this picture?

Marie Ramiro Bois and her friends reluctantly pose for this picture.
Patricia Kaohu Niibu, Leonetta Ching Hoskins and Diane Reyes McHugh finishing up what Ryan and Rudy could not finish off of their dinner plates.
The results of one of Dale's drive off the tee that nailed this poor dove. Feathers were scattered all over the place. Poor birdie. No not really. We think a cat may have gotten to it earlier so Dale you are off the hook.
Our 2nd Class of '68 Golf Tournament at Boulder City Golf Course. Lf. to Rt. Marie Ramiro Bois, Calvin & Karen Hasegawa Nemoto, Jason & Odetta Lincoln Shimotsu, Rudy Garcia, Dale & Janice Ishiara and Andy Oshita.
